On arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be met by your representative and transferred to your hotel by private vehicle.

After check-in, the remainder of the day is free to recover from your international journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy the hotel facilities, take a short walk nearby or have dinner at the hotel.

In the evening, your tour coordinator can review the route, transport arrangements and sightseeing plans for the coming days.

Old and New Delhi – Monuments, Markets and Imperial Architecture

Overnight: Delhi | 2nd night

After breakfast, explore Delhi with a local guide, beginning with Jama Masjid and the historic lanes of Old Delhi. A traditional cycle-rickshaw ride through selected sections of Chandni Chowk offers an introduction to the city's trading heritage, food culture and busy market streets.

Continue to Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi, before driving through New Delhi's ceremonial avenues. See India Gate and the principal government district from the outside, subject to access and traffic conditions.

In the afternoon, visit Humayun's Tomb, a magnificent Mughal garden tomb that provides useful historical context for the architectural traditions later seen at the Taj Mahal. Qutub Minar may also be included, depending on the time available.

Return to your hotel for a relaxed evening.

Delhi – A Deeper Look at the Capital

Overnight: Delhi | 3rd night

Use today to explore another side of Delhi beyond its most famous monuments.

Depending on your interests, the programme can include historic neighbourhoods, traditional markets, selected museums or additional architectural landmarks. Your guide can explain how the city developed through ancient settlements, medieval kingdoms, Mughal rule, the colonial period and modern India.

Time can also be set aside for shopping, with opportunities to browse textiles, handicrafts and other Indian products at suitable markets or established stores.

The day is deliberately flexible. Rather than repeating yesterday's major monuments, it provides space for a more personal introduction to the capital before travelling to Agra.

Delhi to Agra – Discover the Mughal Imperial Court

Overnight: Agra | 1 night

After breakfast, depart Delhi by private air-conditioned vehicle for Agra. The drive generally takes around three to four hours, depending on traffic and the departure point.

On arrival, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax before visiting Agra Fort.

Explore its monumental gateways, audience halls, courtyards and palace buildings with your guide. Once a principal seat of Mughal power, the fort reveals the administrative and ceremonial life of the imperial court, as well as the architectural sophistication of the period.

If time permits, visit Mehtab Bagh on the opposite bank of the Yamuna for a different view of the Taj Mahal. Return to your hotel for dinner and an early night ahead of the following morning's visit.

Sunrise at the Taj Mahal – Travel to Ranthambore

Overnight: Ranthambore | 1st night

Rise early for a visit to the Taj Mahal at sunrise. The changing morning light brings out subtle variations in the monument's white marble, while its symmetry, gardens and intricate stone inlay reveal the extraordinary craftsmanship behind its construction.

Built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal is one of the world's most recognised examples of Mughal architecture. Allow time to appreciate the monument and its surroundings before returning to the hotel for breakfast and check-out.

After breakfast, travel by private vehicle towards Sawai Madhopur, the gateway to Ranthambore National Park. Allow approximately five to six hours or more for the drive, depending on road conditions, traffic and stops.

On arrival, check in to your wildlife lodge and enjoy some time to settle into the surroundings. The landscape here is very different from Agra: dry deciduous woodland, rocky ridges, grassland clearings and lakes form the setting for one of Rajasthan's most celebrated wildlife destinations.

An afternoon safari may be possible if your arrival time and confirmed permit allow it. Otherwise, enjoy a relaxed introduction to the lodge and a briefing about the park, safari procedures and the wildlife you may encounter.

Ranthambore National Park – Morning and Afternoon Tiger Safaris

Overnight: Ranthambore | 2nd night

Begin early with a guided jeep safari in Ranthambore National Park, accompanied by an authorised safari guide and a naturalist where included in your arrangements.

Ranthambore is internationally known for its Bengal tigers, but its appeal extends well beyond one species. Its dry forests, lakes and grasslands support sambar and spotted deer, nilgai, langurs, crocodiles and a wide variety of birds. Leopards, sloth bears and other mammals also inhabit the wider reserve, although encounters depend on natural conditions and are not guaranteed.

After the morning drive, return to your lodge for breakfast and time to rest during the warmer part of the day.

In the afternoon, set out for a second safari, subject to park operating hours and your confirmed permit. Each drive follows an authorised route or zone, and the wildlife encountered will vary. Your guide can help interpret animal tracks, alarm calls, habitat features and the behaviour of the species you observe.

Return to the lodge for dinner and an evening at leisure.

Safari planning: Morning and afternoon drives are subject to park availability, official regulations and the permits secured for your dates. Tiger sightings cannot be promised.

Ranthambore to Jaipur – From the Forest to the Pink City

Overnight: Jaipur | 1st night

After breakfast, check out from your lodge and travel by private vehicle to Jaipur. The journey generally takes around three to four hours, depending on traffic and your lodge's location.

Arrive in Jaipur, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax.

Later, enjoy a gentle introduction to the Pink City. Depending on arrival time, explore selected local markets or take a drive through the historic centre, where traditional façades and busy streets provide a first glimpse of Rajasthan's capital.

Jaipur offers a different atmosphere from Ranthambore: its planned streets, royal architecture and craft traditions reflect the history of a city developed as a major centre of administration, trade and culture.

The evening is free for dinner and relaxation.

Jaipur – Amber Fort and the Royal City Palace

Overnight: Jaipur | 2nd night

After breakfast, head to Amber Fort, set on the hills outside Jaipur. Explore its courtyards, audience halls, decorative chambers and celebrated Sheesh Mahal, learning how the Rajput rulers combined defensive architecture with elaborate royal spaces.

Return to the city for a visit to City Palace, where historic courtyards, royal collections and ceremonial objects tell the story of Jaipur's former ruling family.

Continue to Jantar Mantar, the historic astronomical observatory, if time and interest allow. See Hawa Mahal from the outside before returning to your hotel or exploring the old city.

Your guide can explain the significance of Jaipur's architecture and how its royal patronage helped shape the city's artistic and commercial traditions.

Jaipur – Artisan Workshops and Living Craft Traditions

Overnight: Jaipur | 3rd night

Today explores Jaipur's craftsmanship and cultural traditions, offering a different perspective from the previous day's forts and palaces.

Visit selected workshops or artisan establishments to learn about traditional skills such as hand-block printing, miniature painting, gemstone cutting or jewellery-making, depending on availability and your interests.

These crafts developed through generations of specialist knowledge and royal patronage. Seeing the techniques demonstrated in person can provide a better understanding of the time, precision and skill involved in producing traditional textiles, decorative objects and jewellery.

The afternoon remains flexible. Browse local markets, return to the hotel for some downtime or arrange additional cultural experiences according to your preferences.

Jaipur to Udaipur – Journey to Rajasthan's Lake City

Overnight: Udaipur | 1st night

After breakfast, depart Jaipur for Udaipur by private vehicle. The drive generally takes around six to seven hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.

Break the journey for refreshments and lunch along the way. A stop at Ranakpur's Jain temple complex may be considered if you prefer to include an architectural visit and are comfortable with a longer travel day. This should be agreed upon in advance so that the arrival time in Udaipur remains practical.

On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax.

If time permits, enjoy a short outing near Lake Pichola. Udaipur's white palace façades, waterfront ghats and surrounding hills offer a striking contrast to Jaipur's busy streets.

Udaipur – City Palace and Temple Heritage

Overnight: Udaipur | 2nd night

After breakfast, visit Udaipur City Palace, an extensive complex developed over several generations by the rulers of Mewar. Explore its courtyards, balconies, museum galleries and historic rooms, with views overlooking Lake Pichola.

Your guide will explain the history of the Mewar kingdom and the architectural features that distinguish the palace from other royal residences in Rajasthan.

Continue to Jagdish Temple, known for its carved stonework and continuing religious significance. The visit offers insight into the region's devotional traditions and the role of temples in local life.

Return to your hotel or spend some time exploring the old city, depending on your interests.

Udaipur – Art, Craftsmanship and Lakeside Leisure

Today is devoted to Udaipur's artistic traditions and the relaxed atmosphere of its old city.

Visit selected artisan workshops or heritage neighbourhoods where miniature painting, decorative arts, textiles and other regional crafts can be explored. Arrangements can be tailored to your interests and the workshops available on your travel dates.

After the morning's activities, enjoy free time. You may return to your hotel, browse local boutiques or spend a leisurely afternoon near the lakefront.

A boat ride on Lake Pichola can be arranged as an additional experience or included in the final package if confirmed in the quotation. From the water, Udaipur's palace façades, ghats and surrounding hills can be appreciated from a different perspective.

Udaipur Countryside and Wildlife – Beyond the Palaces

Overnight: Udaipur | 4th night

Explore a different side of Udaipur today, with a choice of countryside scenery and local wildlife experiences.

One option is a visit to Sajjangarh Biological Park, located below the Monsoon Palace on the outskirts of Udaipur. This managed wildlife park provides an opportunity to learn about selected animal species and conservation in a setting surrounded by the Aravalli hills. It should be presented as a biological park visit, not as a wild tiger safari.

For a more natural landscape, a separately arranged excursion towards Jaisamand Lake and its surrounding protected area can be considered. The wider region offers opportunities to appreciate lakeside scenery, birdlife and the relationship between local communities and the surrounding environment. Wildlife sightings will depend on the season, habitat and conditions, and should not be guaranteed.

The choice of excursion should be made before travel, based on your interests, available time and the current access arrangements.

Return to Udaipur during the afternoon. The remainder of the day is free to relax at your hotel or enjoy the city at your own pace.

Udaipur – A Leisurely Final Day in Rajasthan

Overnight: Udaipur | 5th night

Enjoy a relaxed day to revisit a favourite place, browse local shops, arrange a final cultural experience or simply make the most of your hotel.

If you have not yet enjoyed a boat ride on Lake Pichola, this is a good opportunity to include it, subject to the available service and weather conditions.

Alternatively, spend time at the lakefront, explore quieter streets in the old city or enjoy a leisurely meal overlooking the water.

This final day is intentionally unstructured. After two weeks of monuments, markets, road journeys and wildlife excursions, it allows you to enjoy Udaipur without another packed sightseeing schedule.

Depart from Udaipur

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning depending on your onward flight schedule.

At the appropriate time, transfer to Udaipur Airport for your onward journey. Domestic flights and international connections should be arranged with sufficient transfer time, particularly if you are departing India from another city.
